A new Dish Network engineer with nearly five years of network engineering experience, according to LinkedIn, earned $200,000 in severance, according the company.
The Dish Network network engineer, who works for Dish Network in the Atlanta, Georgia, metro area, worked on Dish Network’s wireless network, as well as in various other areas, including data center design and engineering.
Dish Network’s network engineer has more than three years of experience, with an average of more than five years.
The company confirmed to Axios that the engineer earned $192,000 annually.
The engineer’s LinkedIn profile said he has worked in the wireless industry for 15 years.
His LinkedIn profile does not list his last name.
The company confirmed the engineer’s salary to AxIO.
It declined to comment further.
A Dish Network spokeswoman declined to give a specific salary figure.
The network engineer’s job title says he was hired “to design and engineer wireless network systems for Dish Networks’ network.”
The company declined to identify him.
In addition to his Dish Network work, the Dish Network engineering engineer has experience with Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Apple, and others, according LinkedIn.DISH Network has an annual profit of $18.6 billion, according Toilolo.com.

Dishes networking team has been under scrutiny for some time after reports surfaced that the company was hiring employees for networking roles without hiring them on the job.
