Nintendo has long promised to be the first to let people connect with friends via their smartphone or tablet.
The company announced the NX in April as its first console to support this feature, and it’s set to launch on November 17.
The new console will also feature a home screen, which looks like a picture of the NX logo.
The Nintendo Network ID will also be available for download on the NX, and can be used to connect with other NX owners.
The feature will be available to players who own a Nintendo Switch console, Nintendo Switch portable game system, or Nintendo Switch smartwatch.
While the Nintendo Network id will only be available when you are in a connected home, the company is looking into other ways to let you connect.
For example, the NX’s network will be able to connect to an iPhone or Android phone, Nintendo said in a blog post on Tuesday.
